Estate-grown by Hawkesbury Estates at Mt Barker, in the Wanaka sub-region, the lovely 2014 vintage (5*) is a deeply coloured, silky-textured, 'feminine' wine with concentrated, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing excellent complexity. Very savoury and harmonious, it should be at its best 2018

Grown at Mt Barker, in the Wanaka sub-region, the 2014 vintage (4*) is sturdy (14.5 per cent alcohol) and deeply coloured. Still very youthful, it is vibrantly fruity, with excellent depth of fresh, plummy, spicy flavours and firm, ripe tannins beneath. Best drinking 2017+.
